Restaurant reviews are both a note and a survey that customers leave for owners. When a restaurant responds with gratitude to positive reviews or quickly reflects suggestions, customers naturally feel more attached. It signals that the restaurant genuinely cares about its patrons.
For restaurant owners, however, managing reviews is work in itself. Those who are not confident with words often hesitate for a long time before replying. Checking and responding to reviews one by one across multiple platforms is also far from easy. To ease this creative burden for restaurant operators, Lemong’s co-CEOs, Hee-yong Lee (43) and Bo-hyung Kim (36), developed an AI-based comment-generation service. We met them to hear why an “AI writer” is needed.
