Artificial intelligence (AI) is beginning to take root in traditional markets.
Lemong, a startup providing AI-based customer management solutions, announced on the 5th that it introduced its AI customer management service to shops in Busan’s Gupo Traditional Market and delivered tailored training for local merchants.
Lemong operates CommentMong, a solution that consolidates customer reviews scattered across multiple delivery apps and online platforms into a single dashboard, while automatically recommending AI-generated replies.
In March, Lemong signed an MOU with the Gupo Market Merchants Association and has since provided CommentMong free of charge to around 50 stores as the core support group.
Building on this, Lemong also conducted hands-on, level-appropriate training for senior merchants who find digital tools challenging. The sessions helped merchants register their stores online and guided them on how to check and manage reviews on digital platforms. The training was carried out as part of the “Collect Reviews for Our Store” project during the Gupo Market Festival held on October 23–24.
